Privacy, terms, cookies, and POPIA.
The policies that govern this website and the use of personal information collected through it.
Privacy notice.
RIA (Pty) Ltd (‘RIA’, ‘we’, ‘us’) takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This notice describes what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website, you may share with us your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of any message you send us. If you book a meeting through our scheduling service, your name, email address, and any preferences you specify are also collected. If you make a payment for a service or course, payment is processed by our payment provider and we receive a record of the transaction with your name and contact details. Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to schedule and conduct work with you, to deliver any services you have engaged us for, to issue invoices and receipts, to comply with our legal obligations including tax and company reporting, and to keep records of our professional dealings as required by law.
Who else handles your information
We use third-party services to operate this site and run our practice. Each of these holds your data under their own privacy terms:
- Formspree — contact form delivery (when you submit the form on the Contact page)
- Calendly — scheduling, when you book a meeting
- Paystack — payment processing, when you purchase a service
- Google Workspace — email and document storage
- Afrihost — domain registration and website hosting
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to our professional dealings or for as long as required by law, whichever is longer. Invoicing and tax records are retained for the periods required by South African law, typically five years. You can ask us to delete personal information held about you at any time, except where retention is legally required.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (‘POPIA’), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to ask us to delete it, to object to processing in certain circumstances, and to complain to the Information Regulator. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@riadigital.co.za.

Third-party services embedded on the site may set their own cookies and use their own analytics when you interact with them. These are:

- Paystack — sets cookies during a payment session
- Google Fonts — serves the Work Sans and Archivo Black typefaces; loading the fonts shares standard web request information (IP address, browser) with Google for the duration of that request
Each of these providers operates under its own privacy and cookie terms, which you can read on their respective sites. If you would prefer not to have these cookies set, you can block them through your browser settings or decline to use the relevant feature.
